GMS SHARQI UWILD

GMS SHARQI UWILD completed within 6 days of diving.

A diving team with 3.2u inspection specialist, were deployed to GMS SHARQI on the 11th of February. Diving commenced on the 12th, and concluded on the early afternoon of the 17th.

Although 1.5-2m of mud was encountered on all 4 spudcans. Although laborious, the deposits were removed successfully. Marine growth was also removed from the spudcans, for Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Eddy current Non-destructive testing (NDT) purposes. This was achieved to the entire satisfaction of the attending ABS surveyor.
