Blue Steel Successfully Completes Survey Operations in Safaniya Oilfield

After an intense period of Pre-On-Hire-Inspections (POHI) and On-Hire-Inspections (OHI) by our client and ARAMCO, Blue Steel was approved to conduct survey operations for our client, in and near Safaniya Oilfield (biggest offshore field in the world).
Over the months of April into June, Blue Steel conducted side scan and multibeam surveys in shallow depths, that other survey vessels could not even approach with safety.
Blue Steel completed the 24 hour operational scope successfully. It was rumoured, ahead of schedule and ahead of another survey team/platform, that started a similar project weeks earlier. Credit must go to Captains Volodymyr and Captain Yogi and the crew who applied extreme focus, seamanship and dedication, to bring the project home safely.
